The Dangerous Book for Boys

Above is a book I received for Christmas from my Wife. Now when I received it I thought I am not a boy. However, I started reading this book and found it one of the best books and is now treasured by me. This book is for the 'Boy in all Males'. The book takes older men back to their childhood and helps bridge the gap between Past and present generations of males.

Conn Iggulden is the author along with Hal Iggulden. Conn Iggulden is a pretty well renowned Author. I have read 'Lord's of the Bow'
of which I would recommend to all as a worthwhile and enjoyable read.

His literary poise stands out in the dangerous Book for Boys. I especially enjoyed the Historical references to battles fought. A lot of research and love of life when into this book. It is quite enjoyable to read from cover to cover, or a book you can just open and start reading. It is full of excellent activities such as; making your own bow and arrow set, hunting skills, navigation, how to treat Women etc. In this day and age of video games, that create a literal world wherein young people have no need to be creative, comes this book to assist young males to be creative and learn that experiencing life is creating your own unique richness.

Great Book and I recommend that all males make it a permanent piece of their literary Library.

Just Stuff

My wife right now would be saying 'Oh Please, you start a blog and what do you add Collingwood stuff'.

Ah well just can't help myself. For those unsure about AFL, it is the Australian National Sport. I grew up as a Collingwood supporter and many compare Collingwood supporters as passionate as Manchester United supporters.

The player on my blog is Scott Pendlebury. He started in his Youth playing basketball and switched to playing AFL. Collingwood recruited him in 2005 and in a matter of two years he played representative Football for the Victorian side. He is one of those unique sportsmen that seem to always find time and space. Therefore, he is often called the Matrix man. If you want to watch a video displaying his unique skills try this link;

Sitting in TAFE Training

I am supposed to be going over information about the new online Learning in TAFE QLD. But instead i am writing on here.

For some reason I keep reflecting back to how my wife is doing at home with all the kids(as they are on School Holidays). It is days like Today that I am glad that I go to work instead.

I am looking forward to tomorrow as my Mother is visiting for a week. I know my wife is looking forward to the break from the kids that Mother will provide.

Ah well ho hum I had better get to the training and listen.
